This morning I read through the book of Zephaniah. It talks about judgement day, it's a little depressing to read about all the bad things that will happen. I haven't read through a book in one sitting in a long time. I've been waiting till January 1st to start at the beginning of the bible and hopefully finish it by next Jan. 1st. I got my MacArthur study bible yesterday and that is what I'm going to reading out of. It is so packed with notes and study helps it's amazing. So I am reading some of the short books till Jan when I'll start in Genesis. If I read about 4.5 chaspters a day I should finish(I got that off the one28 website bible study helps). I can't hardly wait to start, because I'm one of those people who when I start something I have to finish it. It will be fun, but I'm a little scared about getting into Leviticus and other books like it because they are mostly geneologies.
I have two new-years resolutions one is to drink less pop. I don't drink to much right now but I think it will help with my sports and my over all health to drink very little or none at all. The other one is read through the bible in a year. They are not anything to fancy but I plan to stick to them.

That's awesome that you're trying to read your Bible faithfully! I did the 1-year plan for a couple years and it really helped to give me a larger perspective on the Word! Keep up the reading! He'll be faithful to see you through it!
