resolve

Oh my goodness. This book/magazine/bible thing is so wrong! It is called 'resolve' for girls and who knows what for boys. It is shaped like a magazine. It has beauty tips and tips on getting dates and "is he the right one for you". The book is filled with quizes and 'thoughts boys have". I was looking through one of these things today and even though it has all the scripure written down you can't hardly read it past all the little colorful boxes and pictures of boys. You try to read the scripture and you're thrown off by some quiz about "is he just a player". I'm sorry but this really bugs me. I don't believe God meant for His Word to be watered down like that. When you read the Bible you should be concentrating on His Words and meditating on it, not doing all that other stuff. Its really hypocritical, how can it put verses about being pure and not comiting adultery next to something about ways to attract the opposite sex? I believe it would be wise to stay away from this "Bible". Well... now you know how I feel about that.
We won our basketball game tonight. It was supposed to be a league game but the refs didn't show up, so next time we play this team it will be our league game at their gym. Our team is still working well together. We did alot more running back and forth across the gym than at most other games. But it was fun none the less.
