small group

Reading through Genesis is more fun than I originally thought. I'm suprised at how many little details I didn't know about the stories I grew up with. I'm teaching in our small group this Wednesday and God has laid a subject on my heart. Its based on a story about a boy who reached out to a kid and they became friends. Four years later it turned out that the kid was going to kill himself that weekend but the boy saved him without knowing it. So it just goes to show that one little act of kindness can have a major impact on a persons life. I'm hoping God will give me the right words to say to show the other girls how important it is to reachout and maybe help someone get back on their feet and not to be afraid of what others will think about you if you help one another. It will be a good experience for me.
