Stop Dating the Church

"Stop Dating the Church" by Joshua Harris is amazing. The part that has struck me the most is when he points out that most of us go to church with the mindset of what we can get out of it. It definetly got me thinking about my motives. And the way that he relates things to his own life shows that he really believes and knows what he writes. And I couldn't agree more with the comment by Derek Webb at the beginning of this book- "In Stop Dating the Church! Joshua Harris passionately communicates the urgency of God's people becoming the counterculture we're called to be and gives us tools to get started. I appreciate that Josh has written this book with more than instruction; he writes it as one who also struggles with us to discover our own place in the body ofChrist." I haven't read through the whole book yet, but from what I've read, I would suggest this book to anyone looking to better appreciate the church and the importance of getting involved in a local church.
We just played our last league game and won! Now we're the CHAMPS! I'm very happy, this has been a good year for me and all the other girls.

Way to go Grace JH Girls. You guys, um... I mean girls, you all rock.
I still need the book, but you know that it is our job as staff leaders to help you guys find your place in the Body and to know and use the gifts that God has given you for is glory. Keep prayering and pushing on because he will answer. Way to go little sis.
