mindless chatter?

It's been on my heart lately about how important it is to share our faith with unbelievers. And also to talk about things that don't just fill time but actually provide spiritual benefit. We spend our days in mindless chatter and aren't focused on God. Our affections are in the wrong place(SKH). I heard alot about our affections from all those who enjoyed the sermons by Pastor Higgins over the snow retreat. From the little bit I heard I felt convicted. It is very good to think about, who is at the top of your priority list? You, God, someone or something? If God is not penetrating your thoughts day by day, moment by moment then something is wrong. I find that when I read my Bible in the morning, I think about Him more than when I don't. What you have in your head and heart come out of your mouth. Think about hell for a moment. Burning for all eternity! If you can call someone your friend, that is an unbeliever, you should be showing Christlikeness in your words and actions in hope that God will use you to turn them to Christ. Even if they are mad at you or whatever just remember that that little bit of persecution could save them from the fires of hell. I have been thinking about myself and what others think about me alot more lately than I should, so my conversation has not been God centered. Please pray for me that God will give me the strength to share the gospel and to talk about things that will further God's kingdom.

I have to tell that our team, both girls and guys, went undefeated in our league and also won the championship games. So the JH girls and JH guys have two nice trophies each for the schools' trophy collection. It is bitter sweet. Bitter, because Saturday was my last game as a junior higher and sweet because, well, we won. So, bring on the high school ball!
