spring break!

My first day of spring break, Saturday, was enjoyable. I spent the morning baking muffins while dancing and singing with the News Boys( I'm sure you're all having fun picturing that). And today which is Monday we went shopping for a dress for 8th grade banquet. I found one that is so pretty! Sabrina, my best friend is staying at a hotel about 5 miles from me! She lives about 6 hours away in Curlew. And whats so cool, she is coming to One28!

How much in a day are our thoughts actually about God. Praising Him and praying. I know I've been struggling with this lately. Once in a while I try to take the example (thanks Mrs. Bowers) of taking your lasso and catching that calf(the thought) and then tying it up, you take your thoughts captive. (did I get it right?). Sometimes it works. I've been finding myself, when I focus on God, I make poetry or songs. Its really neat. I think I finally found what helps my mind meditate on God. I write down some of them, and others I forget. I may share some with you sometime. They are not like "pete went to the store, pete came out the door, he had a sore deep in his core" (I just made that up hee, hee). They are spiritual and scripture poems. So I'm sharing with you my joy of finding something that helps me and asking you to keep me accountable, as my brothers and sisters in Christ. So if you see me just sitting and thinking please ask me what I'm thinking about, and don't let me get away with "oh, nothing really". But if you see me feverishly writing something down dont bug me! No, I'm totally kinding. And also, keep saying your prayer requests out loud because when I think about them I will be in prayer to God which is where I should be. Love all of ya!
